Is the “Making a Difference” Philosophy the Same for All Grade Levels?
How Cathedral’s commitment to purpose and service evolves across grade levels
Yes. Cathedral School for Boys’ emphasis on “making a difference” is intentionally woven into the student experience from Kindergarten through Grade 8. While how this idea is expressed evolves with age — through simpler acts of care and service in the Lower School and more complex leadership and service opportunities in the Upper School — the core expectation remains consistent. Across all grades, boys are encouraged to use their learning, values, and actions to contribute positively to their community and the world around them.
