How Do Teachers Support Boys Who Learn Differently in Lower School?
How Cathedral uses responsive teaching and RTI to meet individual learning needs
Lower School teachers at Cathedral School for Boys are skilled in identifying and supporting diverse learning profiles. When learning differences emerge, the School uses a Response to Intervention (RTI) model, with teachers working in small groups or individually to help students access the curriculum. If a student needs more intensive or specialized support, Cathedral partners with families and may recommend comprehensive evaluation and outside resources as appropriate.
